Intex Aqua Star L with Android 5.0 Lollipop launched in India for Rs 6990

Intex Aqua Star L is the first smartphone from an Indian brand which runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It is the latest smartphone from Intex in the Aqua series which will be exclusively sold on Snapdeal in India from Monday, February 16, 2015. Let us quickly have a look at the specifications of the smartphone.


Intex Aqua Star L Specifications

The Intex Aqua Star L features a 5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) fully laminated IPS display which is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and thus it becomes the first smartphone from an Indian brand which runs on Lollipop out of the box.

The Intex Aqua Star L comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM and also comes with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio.


The Intex Aqua Star L includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Intex Aqua Star L will be available in Black and White colour variants and has been priced at Rs 6,990. The smartphone will be exclusively sold on Snapdeal in India from Monday, February 16, 2015 and it is also the cheapest phone to run on Android Lollipop out of the box. Moto E LTE with Android Lollipop, spotted on Best Buy, will be launching soon and should be available for Rs 6,000 approximately.

Intex Aqua X15 and Aqua Q3 are also available in India now. But it online from eBay and Indiatimes shopping.
