Intex Aqua Play budget smartphone launched in India for Rs 3249

Intex Aqua Play has been launched in India. It is the latest budget 3G smartphone in the Aqua series. Lets go through the specifications of the phone.


Intex Aqua Play Specifications

The Intex Aqua Play features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA TFT display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572W processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes pre-loaded with apps like Clean Master, NewsHunt, Quikr, Opera Mini, etc.

The Aqua Play comes with a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) rear primary camera with LED flash and also a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM, comes with 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 10.3 mm thick and weighs 115.5 grams.


The Aqua Play includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,400 mAh battery under the hood.

The Intex Aqua Play is available in Black, White and Blue color variants and has been priced at Rs 3,249 in India. This now becomes one of the cheapest smartphones in the Indian market that is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
