Intex Aqua Fish smartphone running on Sailfish OS 2.0 was introduced earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. It was scheduled to launch in April but the company has finally launched the smartphone in India today. Lets check out the specifications and features of the device now.
Intex Aqua Fish Specifications
The Intex Aqua Fish features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 (MSM8909) processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Sailfish OS 2.0 out of the box. It features a revamped user interface, comes with improved Android application compatibility and browser experience, along with smoother transitions and overall improved stability and performance. It comes pre-loaded with apps like Jolla Store, Mail, Calendar, Tutorial, Notes, Snapdeal and Android app store for an all-inclusive experience.
The Aqua Fish comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, we get a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 9.6 mm thick and weighs 150 grams.
The Aqua Fish includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,500 mAh battery under the hood, which promises up to 6-7 hours of talk time and up to 20 days of standby time.
The Intex Aqua Fish is available in Orange color and has been priced at Rs 5,499 in India. It can now be purchased via eBay and will be coming to Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal in the coming weeks.
