Intex Aqua 5.5 VR running on Marshmallow with VoLTE support launched in India

Intex Technologies has officially launched two new budget smartphones with VoLTE support at the India Gadgetz Expo (IGE) 2016 in Bangalore. They are known as Intex Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II. Lets check out the features, specifications and pricing of the Aqua 5.5 VR here.

Intex Aqua 5.5 VR Specifications

The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737V/W 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded further up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It supports Intex LYFT, which a mix of multi-category content present on the left screen, Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages and comes pre-loaded with apps like Saavn, Clean Master, Opera Mini, Intex services and VAS benefits worth Rs 2,849. The main USP of this phone is that it comes pre-loaded with 3D content.

The Aqua 5.5 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash. On the front, we also get another 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby mode, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The Aqua 5.5 includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood.

The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR is available in Blue and Champagne color variants. It has been priced at Rs 5,099 in India and will be exclusively sold via Flipkart starting from October 19, 2016. The company has also launched the Intex Aqua Craze II for Rs 5,990.
