iBall Slide i701 budget Windows 8.1 tablet launched in India for Rs 4999

iBall today has launched the most affordable budget Windows 8.1 tablet in India. It is known as the iBall Slide i701 tablet. Lets have a look at the specifications.


iBall Slide i701 Windows 8.1 tablet Specifications

The iBall Slide i701 tablet features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Windows 8.1 OS and is upgradable to Windows 10 for free when it comes out.

The iBall Slide i701 tablet comes with a 2 megapixel rear primary camera with flash and a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet includes 3G (via dongle), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI and microUSB as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 3,200 mAh battery under the hood.

The iBall Slide i701 Windows 8.1 tablet has been priced at Rs 4,999 in India which makes it the cheapest Windows 8.1 tablet in the world. The tablet comes with a free back cover autographed by Kareena Kapoor, iBall India’s brand ambassador, free HDMI Cable worth Rs 699 and three interchangeable protective covers worth Rs 599. The device goes on sale from retail market both online and offline from tomorrow (May 21).

The company launched iBall Slide 3G Q45iBall Slide 3G i80iBall Slide Stellar A2 and iBall Slide Q40i tablet recently in India.
