iBall Slide Bio-Mate tablet with fingerprint sensor launched in India

iBall Slide Bio-Mate, the latest tablet from the company in the ‘Slide’ series has been officially launched in India yesterday. It is the first tablet from iBall that comes with a fingerprint sensor, which will let the user save up to 5 fingerprints. Lets check out the specifications and features of the tablet now.

The iBall Slide Bio-Mate features a 8-inch (1200 x 800 pixels) multi-touch IPS display, that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. The tablet comes pre-loaded with GameLoft games such as Asphalt Nitro, Danger Dash and Spider-Ultimate Power, utility apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Hungama, TOI and more. It also has multi-lingual keyboard with 21 regional languages and 9 regional system languages.

The Slide Bio-Mate comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, which has been interpolated to 8 megapixel using software. On the front, there is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby mode, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. There is a fingerprint sensor as well.

The Slide Bio-Mate includes 3G HSPA+ (supports voice calling), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 4,300 mAh battery under the hood.

The iBall Slide Bio-Mate is available in Cobalt Matte body and has been priced at Rs 7,999 in India. Earlier, iBall had launched two laptops – iBall CompBook Excelance and iBall CompBook Exemplaire last month.
