iBall mSLR Cobalt4 has been launched in India. It is the company’s first smartphone to come with detachable lenses and also the latest in the Cobalt series. Lets go through the specifications.
iBall mSLR Cobalt4 Specifications
The iBall mSLR Cobalt4 features a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD display. It is powered by 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex A7 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and hopefully will be upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop soon.
The mSLR Cobalt4 comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash. On the front, it has a 3.2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The speciality of the rear camera is that it comes bundled with four detachable lenses – a zoom lens with 8x zoom, a fish eye lens with a 175-180 degree viewing angle, a macro lens with 10x magnification and minimum object distance of 10-15mm, and a wide-angle lens with a 130-degree viewing angle. It supports Dual SIM with dual standby mode and also has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.
The mSLR Cobalt4 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The iBall mSLR Cobalt4 has been priced at Rs 8,499 and comes with a free pouch and cleaning cloth for the lenses. The smartphone will be rolling out across India in phases.
