Huawei Y5 II with 5-inch HD display goes official

Huawei has officially launched two new budget smartphones – Huawei Y5 II and Y3 II. Both of them comes in both 3G and 4G LTE variants. Lets check out the specifications and features of Y5 II here.


Huawei Y5 II Specifications

The Huawei Y5 II features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU for the 4G variant whereas the 3G model is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor along with Mali 400 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with EMUI 3.1 on top of it.

The Y5 II rocks a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. It has Dual SIM support and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 135 grams.

The Y5 II comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood.

The Huawei Y5 II is available in Arctic White, Sand Gold, Rose Pink, Obsidian Black and Sky Blue color variants. The company has also launched the Huawei Y3 II. There is no information about the pricing or availability of both these smartphones yet.
