Huawei has launched four new budget smartphones in India – the Y336, Y541, Y625 and G620S. Lets take a look at the specifications of Huawei Y336 here.


Huawei Y336 Specifications

The Huawei Y336 features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with lite version of Emotion UI 3.0 on top of it, and might get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The Y336 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM, has 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 10.9 mm thick and weighs 120 grams.

The Y336 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,730 mAh battery under the hood.

The Huawei Y336 has been priced at Rs 5,499. It will go on sale in India in the next few weeks via the company’s offline distributors across 1000 stores in the initial phase, according to the company.

On this occasion, Allen Wang, President of Consumer Business Group, Huawei Telecommunications India said,

“After the global success in the first half of 2015 with our smartphones sales crossing 50 million units, making us global number 3, we are excited to launch our “Huawei Brand” series in India. The good news is that the new series will be available through the retail route where our customers can experience the products first hand. Keeping in mind the value proposition and commitment we offer to our customers, Huawei is rapidly strengthening it’s after sales network to serve them better.”

P Sanjeev, Director Sales (Devices Business), Huawei Telecommunications India said,

“To reach out to our consumers in key markets, Huawei range would be available through a strong distribution network in offline retail beginning with a 1000 stores roll out in the next 4-8 weeks. For the brand new series, we will be strengthening our presence with traditional multi-brand retailers and by partnering with top modern trade players such as Croma, Reliance Digital, Sangeetha Retail and The Mobile Store in key cities like Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai amongst others.”
