Huawei P9 and P9 Plus flagship devices were announced at an event in London yesterday. Today, the company has officially launched the Huawei P9 Lite in Russia. Lets go through the specifications of the smartphone.
Huawei P9 Lite Specifications
The Huawei P9 Lite features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display that is powered by an octa-core Kirin 650 processor. It has 2 / 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with EMUI 4.1 on top of it.
The P9 Lite rocks a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD) support (depending on region) and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back as well.
The P9 Lite comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, USB Type-C and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The Huawei P9 Lite will be available in Silver and Gold color variants and is expected to launch in June in Russia. There is no information about the global roll out or pricing details yet.
