Huawei has announced two new devices – Nova and Nova Plus in the new Nova series at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. Lets check out the specifications, features and pricing of the Huawei Nova here.
Huawei Nova Specifications
The Huawei Nova features a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, that has 450 nits of brightness and has a 1500:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal storage, that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box with EMUI 4.1 on top of it.
The Nova rocks a 12 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 1.25-micron pixel size, that can shoot 4K videos. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD card) support and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a full metal body that is 7.1 mm thick and weighs 146 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, that unlocks the device in just 0.3 seconds. It comes with DTS headphone X audio technology for an enhanced audio experience.
The Nova comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB Type-C and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,020 mAh battery under the hood.
The Huawei Nova is available in Mystic Silver, Prestige Gold and Titanium Grey color variants. It has been priced at €399 (US $447 / INR Rs 29,843 approximately) and will start rolling out from October 2016.
