Huawei’s unlocked Nexus 6P 64GB model now available for just $400

The Huawei-made Google Nexus 6P was officially launched in September last year. The 64GB variant of the phablet is currently available for just $399.99 on Amazon and Best Buy. It was originally priced at $549.99, hence if you purchase one now, you’ll get $150 discount.

You can only get the Gold and Silver color variant for $399.99 on Amazon whereas all the color options are up for grab on Best Buy. Also, check out the 32GB and 128GB variants, even they are selling at a discount but it is not happening as the 64GB model. It might be a limited time deal, hence act quickly if you want a Nexus 6P.

The next Nexus smartphone rumoured to be made by HTC is just round the corner though.

The Huawei-made Google Nexus 6P rocks a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The display has a pixel density of 518 ppi. The phablet is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (Quad 1.5 GHz ARM A53 + Quad 1.8 GHz ARM A57) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes in 32 / 64 / 128 GB internal memory that cannot be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Google Now voice assistant is now always on and will work even when the screen is off.

The Nexus 6P features a 12.3 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.55 µm pixels, f/2.0 aperture, smart burst. It can record 4K video and also slow motion video at 240 fps. On the front, it comes with a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4 µm pixels for selfies and video calling. The phablet has a full metal (anodized aluminium) body that is 7.3 mm thick, weighs just 178 grams and supports a Single Nano SIM. It comes with a fingerprint sensor named as Nexus Imprint on the back that can be used for secured lock, payments made via Android Pay, wake up the phone and unlock apps as well. It recognizes a fingerprint in less than 600 milliseconds, according to Google.

The Nexus 6P features 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and reversible USB Type-C port as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,450 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charging.
