Huawei MediaPad M3 with 2K display, 4G LTE goes official at IFA

Huawei MediaPad M3 has been announced at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. It is the latest tablet from the house of Huawei in the MediaPad series. Lets go through the specifications and features of the device below.

The Huawei MediaPad M3 tablet features a 8.4-inch (2560 x 1600 pixels) WQXGA IPS display, that has 400 nits of brightness. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 950 (Quad 2.3 GHz A72 + Quad 1.8 GHZ A53) 16nm processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU. It has 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and comes with 32 / 64 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded further up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Emotion UI 4.1 on top of it.

The MediaPad M3 comes with a 8 megapixel fixed focus rear primary camera. On the front, it also has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a fingerprint sensor onboard embedded into the home button below the display. It has a metal unibody design that is 7.3 mm thick. The tablet comes with Harman Kardon certified stereo speakers and SWS 3.0 stereo sound effect for an enhanced audio experience.

The MediaPad M3 includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 5,100 mAh battery under the hood.

The Huawei MediaPad M3 is available in Silver and Gold color variants. It has been priced at €349 (US $389 / INR Rs 25,936 approximately) for the 32GB WiFi only model. The 32GB LTE model is priced at €399 (US $445 / INR Rs 29,650 approximately) and the 64GB LTE variant costs €449 (US $501 / INR Rs 33,358 approximately). It will start rolling out from September 26 in several European countries, that include UK. It is also coming to some parts of Asia and the Middle East.

Huawei has also launched two new devices – Nova and Nova Plus in the new Nova series at the IFA 2016 in Berlin.
