Huawei MediaPad M2 has been unveiled in France. The M1 successor was silently showcased at the company’s official store in Central Paris. It was first spotted by French blog LesNumeriques (via GSMArena).
Huawei MediaPad M2 Specifications
The Huawei MediaPad M2 tablet features a 8-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display which is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core Kirin 930 64-bit processor (4 x 2.0 GHz + 4 x 1.5 GHz) with Mali-T628 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Emotion UI 3.1 on top of it.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 tablet comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 7.8mm thick and weighs 310 grams.
The MediaPad M2 tablet includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n Dual Band, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 4,800 mAh battery under the hood.
According to various reports, the MediaPad M2 will be available from June in Silver, Gray and Gold colour variants. The WiFi only variant will be priced at 279 Euros (US $311 / INR Rs 19,850 approximately) whereas the 4G LTE variant will set you back by 349 Euros (US $389 / INR Rs 24,850 approximately).
