Huawei M2 7.0 tablet launched in China

Huawei M2 7.0 tablet has been officially launched in China. It is a variant of the Huawei MediaPad M2 tablet, which was unveiled in July last year. Lets go through the specifications of the device now.

The Huawei M2 7.0 tablet features a 7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 / 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Emotion UI on top of it.

The M2 tablet comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a fingerprint sensor baked into the home button on the right side .

The M2 tablet includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS / aGPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 4,360 mAh battery under the hood.

The Huawei M2 7.0 tablet is available in Pink, Blue and White color variants. It has been priced at CNY 1599 (US $246 / INR Rs 16,348 approximately) for the 16GB ROM variant whereas the 32GB model costs CNY 1799 (US $276 / INR Rs 18,400 approximately). It can now be ordered in China. The company has also launched the Huawei G9 Lite smartphone in the country, which goes on sale from May 13, 2016.
