Huawei Honor Play 5X to be unveiled on October 10

Huawei Honor Play 5X that was recently spotted on TENAA will be officially announced at an event in Beijing on October 10. It was officially announced by Huawei. Lets check out the specifications that will be on board.


Huawei Honor Play 5X Rumoured Specifications

The Huawei Honor Play 5X features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that is protected by Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 (most probably) on top of it.

The Honor Play 5X rocks a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will have support for Dual SIM support. It is 9.7 mm thick and weighs 159 grams.

The Honor Play 5X comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. We do not have information on the battery capacity yet.

The Huawei Honor Play 5X will be available in Black and other color variants. The pricing should be announced on October 10 at the launch event. Recently, the Honor 5X was also spotted on TENAA and is supposed to be officially launched soon as well.
