Huawei Honor 7 smartphone officially launched in India for Rs 22999

Huawei Honor 7 has been finally officially launched in India. It was announced in China back in July and went on sale recently in Europe in August. Lets take a look at the specifications of the smartphone.


Huawei Honor 7 Specifications

The Huawei Honor 7 features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD multi-touch in-cell display. It is powered by Octa-core Huawei Kirin 935 processor (4 x A53 2.2 GHz + 4 x A53 1.5 GHz) along with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 on top of it. According to Honor, it is upgradable to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the near future, beta in January and stable version by February 2016.

The Honor 7 comes with a 20 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 6P lenses, Sony IMX230 sensor. It also has Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) that will let you focus on a subject in just 0.1 second. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor and LED flash for selfies and video calling. Also, there is a highly sensitive fingerprint sensor, present at the back of the phone. It has uni-body with metal finish. The smartphone has Smart Sense with a dedicated Smart Key on the left side that will let the users access most of their used apps. It does not have Dual SIM support.

The Honor 7 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,100 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging. The phone charges up to 50% in just 30 minutes and 100% in around 1 hour and 25 minutes.

The Huawei Honor 7 is available in Fantasy Silver and Mystery Gray color variants and has been priced at Rs 22,999 in India. It goes on sale on Flipkart starting October 15.
