Huawei Honor 7 now available in European markets, price starts at USD 384

Huawei Honor 7 was launched in China at the end of June. The smartphone has been the most successful device in the company’s history as they got over 9 million pre-orders in one week. Hence, Huawei is launching the international variant of Honor 7 in Europe.


At the launch event, George Zhao, President of Honor said that the company would focus and continue to invest in key markets like India, the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, France and USA. Also, Honor made a revenue of US $2.63 Billion in the first-half of 2015. Lets see the specifications of Honor 7.

Huawei Honor 7 Specifications

The Huawei Honor 7 features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD multi-touch in-cell display. It is powered by Octa-core Huawei Kirin 935 processor (4 x A53 2.2 GHz + 4 x A53 1.5 GHz) along with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes in 16 and 64 GB storage variants, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 on top of it.

The Honor 7 comes with a 20 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 6P lenses, Sony IMX230 sensor. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor and LED flash for selfies and video calling. It comes with 3.5 mm audio jack and IR LED blaster. Also, there is a highly sensitive fingerprint sensor, present at the back of the phone. It has uni-body with metal finish.

The Honor 7 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and NFC as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,100 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging. The phone charges up to 50% in just 30 minutes and 100% in around 1 hour and 25 minutes.


The Huawei Honor 7 is available in Mystery Gray and Fantasy Silver colour variants and has been priced at £249.99 (US $384 / INR Rs 25,450 approximately). In France, Italy, Spain, Germany, The Netherlands and Finland, it costs €349.99 (US $394 / INR Rs 26,100 approximately). The device is selling on vmall in gray colour.
