Huawei Honor 5X with metal unibody design spotted on TENAA and AnTuTu

Huawei Honor 5X (KIW-AL10) has been spotted on TENAA and AnTuTu, ahead of launch. It is the successor of Honor 4X but will come with a metal unibody design instead of the polycarbonate body on the previous gen model. Lets check out the specifications of the device that has also scored 20,916 points in the AnTuTu benchmark.

Huawei Honor 5X (KIW-AL10) Specifications

The Huawei Honor 5X features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display that is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes in 32 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 (most probably) on top of it.

The Honor 5X rocks a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. According to the image, there are two slots on the left side of the phone. Thus, it could have Dual SIM support as well as a dedicated microSD card slot instead of a Hybrid Dual SIM slot. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back side for secured unlocking and more.

The Honor 5X comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. We do not have information on the battery capacity yet.

The Huawei Honor 5X is expected to be launched soon, maybe sometime in October this year. The company has recently announced Huawei Mate S, Huawei G8 and Huawei Watch at IFA 2015.
