Huawei Honor 4A smartphone announced in China

Huawei Honor 4A has been announced in China. It is the latest budget smartphone in the Honor series. Lets look at the specifications.


Huawei Honor 4A Specifications

The Huawei Honor 4A features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 on top of it.

The Honor 4A comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, Sony/OmniVision sensor, f/2.0. On the front, there is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera with 22 mm wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 155 grams. It supports Dual (micro) SIM with dual standby mode.


The Honor 4A includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood.

The Huawei Honor 4A is available in Black and White colour variants and has been priced at CNY 599 (US $97 / INR Rs 6,150 approximately) for the common 4G variant and CNY 699 (US $113 / INR Rs 7,150 approximately) for the China Unicom / Telecom variant. It goes on sale in China from July 28.

The last smartphone in the Honor series was the Honor 4C.
