Huawei G9 Plus has been officially launched in China couple of days back. It is the latest phablet in the G9 series, that comes few months after the launch of the Huawei G9 Lite. Lets check out the specifications and features of the device below.
Huawei G9 Plus Specifications
The Huawei G9 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 14nm processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage, that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with EMUI 4.1 on top of it.
The G9 Plus rocks a 16 megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD card) support and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a full metal body that is 7.3 mm thick and weighs 160 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, that unlocks the device in just 0.3 seconds.
The G9 Plus comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,340 mAh battery under the hood.
The Huawei G9 Plus is available in Gold, Rose Gold and Silver color variants. It has been priced at CNY 2399 (US $362 / INR Rs 24,330 approximately) in China and is already on sale via online stores.
