Huawei G8 phablet was announced at IFA 2015 in Berlin. Now, the same device has been renamed as Huawei G7 Plus and the company has launched it in some specific markets such as Vietnam, China and Thailand. Lets have a look at the specifications once again.
Huawei G7 Plus Specifications
The Huawei G7 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS 2.5D glass display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (Cortex A53 – Quad 1.5 GHz + Quad 1.2 GHz) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and has 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD slot. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 on top of it.
On the camera front, the G7 Plus rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and OIS. There is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It also has a fingerprint sensor 2.0 at the back below the primary rear camera. It is an all-metal uni-body device that is 7.5 mm thick and weighs 167 grams. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano) where the second SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot as well.
On the connectivity front, the G7 Plus comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The Huawei G7 Plus is available in Grey, Gold and Silver color variants and has been priced at 12990 Baht (US $362 / INR Rs 23,948 approximately) in Thailand.
