Huawei Enjoy 5S with fingerprint sensor, metal body officially announced

Huawei Enjoy 5S has been announced in China. It is an upgraded variant of the Huawei Enjoy 5 that was announced in October. Lets take a look at the specifications of the smartphone.


Huawei Enjoy 5S Specifications

The Huawei Enjoy 5S features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6753T 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite on top of it.

The Enjoy 5S rocks a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and BSI sensor. There is also a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 28mm lens for selfies and video calling. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM (nano) support where the second SIM slot also works as a microSD card slot. It is 7.6 mm thick and weighs 135 grams. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back and has a metal unibody design.

The Enjoy 5S comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood.


The Huawei Enjoy 5S is available in Golden and Silver color variants and has been priced at CNY 1199 (US $187 / INR Rs 12,481 approximately). It can now be ordered from vmall and will officially go on sale in China from December 10. There is no announcement on the global launch of the handset yet.
