Huawei CRR-UL00 spotted on TENAA in China, could be launched as Mate 7S or Mate 7x

Huawei will supposedly announce the Honor 7i on August 20 but another handset code-named Huawei CRR-UL00 has been spotted on TENAA, a regulatory body in China.


The new Huawei device in question, code-named as CRR-UL00 has been certified by TENAA in China. It could possibly launch as the or Mate 7S or Mate 7x. The images were leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer on Twitter. Lets have a look at the rumoured details.

Huawei CRR-UL00 / Huawei Mate 7S

The Huawei CRR-UL00 is rumoured to feature a 5.7-inch display however it looks like a 4.7-inch display, according to the images. It has a metal build and most likely will sport a fingerprint scanner on the back. The device resembles the design of the Huawei Mate 7 which was launched last year at IFA 2014.

There is no information about the specifications of the device but it will supposedly come in Black, Gold and two other colour variants. So, an upgraded variant of the Huawei Mate 7 might be launched at IFA 2015. We will bring you more news on this upcoming smartphone in September.


On August 20, the company will be launching the Huawei Honor 7i with a sliding camera mechanism, that was recently spotted on TENAA under the model name of ATH-AL00.
