Huawei ATH-AL00 with sliding camera system spotted on TENAA in China

Huawei ATH-AL00 has been spotted on TENAA in China, while it was being certified. The special feature of this smartphone is the sliding camera system, which houses the front-facing camera unit.

Huawei ATH-AL00

The Huawei ATH-AL00 will have a sliding camera mechanism where the users can slide the rear camera unit up from the module. This will in turn reveal the front-facing camera along with the Dual LED flash. This has been done in order to reduce the bezel on the front above the display. Also, it is very innovative and refreshing to see any manufacturer trying out different things in a saturated smartphone industry.

We can also find a large button on the side of the device which unlocks the module and could also act as a potential fingerprint scanner as well. It has a camera shutter button, so that makes the smartphone more focused on the camera aspect. However, there is not much to look forward to the specifications, as they were revealed in the TENAA listing. Still, it has been reported to sport a Kirin chipset, made by Huawei and will be coupled with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM.

Another model of the device with model number ATH-AL00H has also been spotted. It comes with 16GB of internal storage coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with 4GB of RAM. It has support for Dual SIM and will have 4G LTE on board as well. We will have more information on this soon.

Huawei G8 phablet was recently launched in China, after being spotted on TENAA. Thus, we can expect this handset to launch very soon.
