HTC will unveil wearables with 64-bit processor at IFA along with Desire 820

HTC had plans to launch the Desire 820 at its IFA press conference in Berlin on September 4. Along with the upcoming smartphone, the company might take the wraps off its first 2 wearable devices. Leaks suggested that one such wearable would a Fitness Tracker and other to be a Smart-watch.

The wearables have been codenamed WWY and CWZ. According to the reports the WWY is a Fitness tracker with a 1.8-inch display and a 32 x 100 pixel resolution, suggesting it will be long and thin. The device will be water resistant with IP57 certification, and has a 100mAh battery. The other one codenamed CWZ is expected to be a smart-watch as per the reports.


Coming back to the smartphone, the Desire 820 will boast a 5.5-inch HD display powered up by 64-bit quad core 1.2GHz processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM. The device is expected to have an internal storage of 8GB. Reports hint that it will feature a 13-megapixel rear-snapper. The Desire 820 will be backed up by a 2,600 mAH battery.
