HTC One M9s with 5-inch display now official in Taiwan

HTC One M9s has been officially launched in Taiwan. It has the same specs of the recently launched One M9e in China. Lets take a look at the specifications of the smartphone.


HTC One M9s Specifications

The HTC One M9s features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display that is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with the latest HTC Sense UI on top of it.

The One M9s rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 27.8 mm lens and OIS. It can shoot 4K videos. On the front, there is a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 26.8 mm lens for selfies and video calling. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It has a unibody metal build that is 9.61 mm thick and weighs 158 grams. It has dual front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio and supports Single SIM (nano).

On the connectivity front, the One M9s include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS with GLONASS. The smartphone packs in a 2,840 mAh battery under the hood.

The HTC One M9s is available in Gold, Silver and Gunmetal Grey color variants and has been priced at NT$12,900 (US $393 / INR Rs 26,004 approximately). It goes on sale in Taiwan starting from November 20 via HTC stores and few other retail and online stores.
