HTC One M9e officially launched in China for USD 425

HTC One M9e has been officially announced in China. It is a variant of the One M9 that also got certified last month. Lets check out the specifications of the smartphone.


HTC One M9e Specifications

The HTC One M9e features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display that is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box with the latest HTC Sense UI on top of it.

The One M9e rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 27.8 mm lens and OIS. It can shoot 4K videos. On the front, there is a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 26.8 mm lens for selfies and video calling. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It has a unibody metal build that is 9.61 mm thick and weighs 157 grams. It has dual front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio and supports Single SIM (nano).

On the connectivity front, the One M9e include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS with GLONASS. The smartphone packs in a 2,840 mAh battery under the hood.


The HTC One M9e is available in Gold, Silver and Gunmetal Grey color variants and has been priced at CNY 2699 (US $425 / INR Rs 27,660 approximately). It can be purchased via Tmall in China.

The company recently launched the HTC One A9 that runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and looks like an iPhone.
