HTC One M9+ in India launched for Rs 52500

HTC One M9+ has been launched in India today. It was surprising as we had expected HTC to launch the One M9. The One M9+ was recently announced in China. Lets go through the specifications.


HTC One M9+ Specifications

The HTC One M9+ features a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio (MT6795T) 64-bit processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and has 32 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with the latest Sense 7 UI on top of it. There is a fingerprint sensor below the display which helps in secure locks and payments. It works using multi-directional sensors, which allows you to place your finger on the sensor, in any direction to unlock the phone, according to HTC.

One the camera front, the HTC One M9+ rocks a 20.7 and 2.1 megapixel rear cameras with dual LED flash. It comes with a ultrapixel front-facing camera for better low-light images (selfies) and video calling. It comes with 5.1 Dolby digital surround front-facing speakers.


The HTC One M9+ comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS as connectivity options. The smartphone is powered by a 2,840 mAh battery under the hood.

The HTC One M9+ will be available in Gunmetal Grey, Silver and Gold colour variants and has been priced at Rs 52,500. The device will go on sale on May 3 in India across retail stores.
