HTC One M9 in India will finally be launching on April 14 at a press event named ‘Unveiling Brilliance’. The flagship HTC smartphone was announced at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
The HTC One M9 press invite reads “Brace yourselves as we get ready to showcase the most exciting revelation in the history of smartphones”. There is no information on the pricing of HTC One M9 in India yet but do it is expected to get a premium tag. Lets look at the specifications.

The HTC One M9 in India has a dual finish metal unibody with hair brushed back. The smartphone features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super LCD3 display with a pixel density of 441 ppi, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a octa-core (2 GHz x 4 Cortex A57 + 1.5 GHz x 4 Cortex A53) Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and has 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with the latest Sense 7 UI on top of it.
One the camera front, the HTC One M9 rocks a 20 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. It can capture images with a maximum resolution of 5248 x 3936 pixels and can also record videos and images simultaneously. The rear camera can also shoot 4K videos at 30fps and Full HD 1080p videos at 60fps. Also, it can shoot slow-mo videos at 120fps with 720p resolution. It comes with a 4 ultrapixel front-facing camera for better low-light images (selfies) and video calling. It comes with 5.1 Dolby digital surround front-facing speakers. It is 9.6 mm thick and weighs 157 grams.
The HTC One M9 in India comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, microUSB 2.0, infrared and NFC as connectivity options. The smartphone is powered by a 2,840 mAh non-replaceable battery under the hood.
The HTC One M9 will be available in dual-tone silver and rose gold, single-tone gunmetal grey, single-tone gold and dual-tone gold and pink colour variants.
