A new HTC One E9 variant has popped up and has been certified on TENAA in China. Named as HTC E9st, this one comes with a 5.5-inch HD display instead of a full HD one.

The HTC One E9s will feature a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED display. The phablet will be powered by 1.7 GHz octa-core processor. It will come with 2 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded via microSD. The device will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box with HTC Sense 7.0 UI on top.
The One E9 variant will come with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it will have a 4 ultrapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will support Dual SIM, come with 3.5mm audio jack and Dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers. Weighing at 165 grams and 7.64 mm thick.
On the connectivity front, the HTC One E9s will include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS with GLONASS. There is no information on the battery capacity under the hood yet.
The latest phablet from HTC will supposedly come in a variety of colour options but we do not know the exact name yet. However, expect the official launch in China soon as it has been certified in the country. We will not be shocked even if the company decides to launch it in other countries.
