HTC India has sent our invitation for an event on November 25. It does not say much but their social media teasers confirm that the company is bringing the recently launched HTC One A9 to the country.
HTC One A9 Specifications
The HTC One A9 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display that is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 / 3 GB of RAM and has 16 / 32 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with the latest HTC UI on top of it.
The One A9 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Both of them shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It is 7.26 mm thick and weighs 143 grams. There is a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button as well. It comes with powerful speakers on the bottom with built-in DAC that delivers 192kHz / 24 bit studio-quality audio.
On the connectivity front, the One A9 include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The smartphone packs in a 2,150 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The HTC One A9 is available in Opal Silver, Carbon Gray, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet color variants. It was first priced at US $399.99 but later HTC changed it to US $499.99 (INR Rs 33,039 approximately). We will know the exact indian pricing on the launch day itself.
