HTC One A9 was launched in India on November 25 along with the Desire 828 Dual SIM but the company did not announce the pricing or availability of the devices. Today, the pricing and availability of the One A9 has been revealed. Lets check it out.
HTC One A9 Specifications
The HTC One A9 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display that is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 / 3 GB of RAM and has 16 / 32 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with the latest HTC UI on top of it.
The One A9 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Both of them shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It is 7.26 mm thick and weighs 143 grams. There is a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button as well. It comes with powerful speakers on the bottom with built-in DAC that delivers 192kHz / 24 bit studio-quality audio.
On the connectivity front, the One A9 include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The smartphone packs in a 2,150 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The HTC One A9 is available in Pearl Silver and Carbon Gray color variants and has been priced at Rs 29,990 in India. It will be sold exclusively via Snapdeal. Pre-order beings tomorrow (December 9) from 9 AM till December 14. It goes on sale from December 15.
