HTC One A9 and Desire 828 dual SIM has been officially announced in India today, as expected. However, the HTC India has not revealed the pricing of these devices yet. They will go on sale in the coming weeks by mid-December.
HTC One A9 Specifications
The HTC One A9 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display that is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 / 3 GB of RAM and has 16 / 32 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with the latest HTC UI on top of it.
The One A9 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Both of them shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It is 7.26 mm thick and weighs 143 grams. There is a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button as well. It comes with powerful speakers on the bottom with built-in DAC that delivers 192kHz / 24 bit studio-quality audio.
On the connectivity front, the One A9 include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The smartphone packs in a 2,150 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The HTC One A9 is available in Opal Silver, Carbon Gray, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet color variants. It was first priced at US $399.99 but later HTC changed it to US $499.99 (INR Rs 33,039 approximately). We will know the exact indian pricing when it goes on sale.
HTC Desire 828 dual SIM Specifications
The HTC Desire 828 dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor with Mali-T760 GPU. The Desire 828 comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI on top.
On the camera front, the Desire 828 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash and OIS. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos as well. It has a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 26.8 mm lens for your selfies and video calling. It can also record 1080p videos. The phablet is 7.9 mm thick. The HTC Desire 828 comes with HTC BoomSound and dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Dolby audio. It has dual SIM (nano) on board.
The Desire 828 comes with 4G LTE (Cat.4), 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/a-GPS + GLONASS as connectivity options. The phablet has a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge. The HTC Desire 828 dual SIM is available in White Pearl and Phantom Grey color variants. It has been priced at CNY 1599 (US $252 / INR Rs 16,513 approximately) in China and we will know the Indian pricing when it goes on sale in the country.
