HTC Desire 830 has been officially announced in Taiwan today, along with the HTC Desire 825, which was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona. Lets check out the specifications of the Desire 830 now.
HTC Desire 830 Specifications
The HTC Desire 830 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display that is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753T processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with HTC’s Sense 7 UI on top of it.
On the camera front, the Desire 830 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 28 mm lens and Full HD 1080p video recording. It has a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 26.8 mm wide-angle lens for your selfies and video calling. It comes with Dual front-facing stereo speakers, Boomsound and Dolby audio for enhanced audio experience. It is 7.79 mm thick and weighs 156 grams. It will support Dual SIM in some regions and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack as well.
The Desire 830 comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/GLONASS as connectivity options. The phablet has a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood.
The HTC Desire 830 is available in White with Blue and White with Orange color variants. It has been priced at NT $9990 (US $310 / INR Rs 20,564 approximately) in Taiwan and will go on sale starting from May 6, 2016. There is no information on global roll out yet.
