HTC Desire 828 dual SIM launched in China for USD 252

HTC Desire 828 dual SIM has been officially announced in China. It is the company’s latest mid-range phablet that was spotted on TENAA a while back. It is also the successor of Desire 826 dual SIM that was also launched in India recently. Lets go through the specifications.


HTC Desire 828 dual SIM Specifications

The HTC Desire 828 dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor with Mali-T760 GPU. The Desire 828 comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI on top.

On the camera front, the Desire 828 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash and OIS. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos as well. It has a ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 26.8 mm lens for your selfies and video calling. It can also record 1080p videos. The phablet is 7.9 mm thick. The HTC Desire 828 comes with HTC BoomSound and dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Dolby audio. It has dual SIM (nano) on board.

The Desire 828 comes with 4G LTE (Cat.4), 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/a-GPS + GLONASS as connectivity options. The phablet has a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge.

The HTC Desire 828 dual SIM is available in White Pearl and Phantom Grey color variants and has been priced at CNY 1599 (US $252 / INR Rs 16,513 approximately) in China. It can now be ordered via the official HTC eShop and will go on sale in the country later this November. There is no information about the global launch yet.
