The HTC Desire 728G dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor with Mali-T760 GPU. The Desire 728G comes with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI on top.

On the camera front, the Desire 728G has a 13 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 27 mm lens. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos as well. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor, f/2.8 aperture and 33.7 mm lens for your selfies and video calling. It can also record 1080p videos. The phablet is 7.87 mm thick and weighs 153 grams. The HTC Desire 728G comes with dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Dolby audio. It has dual SIM (nano) on board which supports GSM + GSM or GSM + CDMA.

The HTC Desire 728G dual SIM is available in White and Grey color variants and will be officially launched in India soon for Rs 17,990. However, we do not understand why HTC has decided to scrap the 4G LTE support on the Indian variant when smartphone manufacturers are churning out 4G LTE phones at large. It is a very strange decision from the company and we would like to know the reason from HTC India’s top brass.
