HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM phablet launched in India for Rs 17990

HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM has been officially launched in India. It is the latest mid-range phablet from the company in the Desire series. Lets check out the specifications of the device.


HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM Specifications

The HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. The Desire 728 comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI on top.

On the camera front, the Desire 728 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor for your selfies and video calling. It can also record 1080p videos as well. The phablet is 7.87 mm thick and weighs 155 grams. The HTC Desire 728 comes with HTC BoomSound and dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Dolby audio. It has dual SIM (nano) on board along with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The Desire 728 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/a-GPS as connectivity options. The phablet has a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood.


The HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM is available in White Luxury and Purple Myst color variants and has been priced at Rs 17,990. It will go on sale across India via major retailers starting next week. The company had recently launched HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM in the country for Rs 19,990.
