HTC Desire 728 dual SIM phablet launched in China for USD 267

HTC Desire 728 dual SIM has been officially launched in China. It is a mid-range phablet from the company in the Desire series. Lets check out the specifications.


HTC Desire 728 dual SIM Specifications

The HTC Desire 728 dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor with Mali-T760 GPU. The Desire 728 comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI on top.

On the camera front, the Desire 728 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos as well. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor for your selfies and video calling. It can also record 1080p videos. The phablet is 7.87 mm thick and weighs 153 grams. The HTC Desire 728 comes with dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Dolby audio. It has dual SIM (nano) on board.


The Desire 728 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/a-GPS as connectivity options. The phablet has a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge.

The HTC Desire 728 dual SIM is available in White and Grey color variants and is selling on the official HTC eShop in China for CNY 1699 (US $267 / INR Rs 17,840 approximately). There is no information on global roll out yet.
