HTC Desire 630 with Android Marshmallow goes official

HTC Desire 630 has been announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona along with Desire 530. It is the latest budget smartphone in the Desire 600 series. Lets check out the specifications.


HTC Desire 630 Specifications

The HTC Desire 630 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super LCD display that is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI on top of it.

On the camera front, the Desire 630 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.4 aperture and Full HD 1080p video recording. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 140 grams. It supports Single / Dual SIM, depending on the region. It comes with BoomSound and Dolby audio. The consumer will also get a Hi-Res audio headset out of the box.

The Desire 630 comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone has a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood.

The HTC Desire 630 is available in Graphite Grey Remix with gold micro splash and Stratus White Remix with duo color micro splash color variants. The pricing has not been announced yet but it will start rolling out from March 2016. The company has also unveiled the HTC Desire 825.
