HTC has announced four new smartphones for the US market – Desire 626, Desire 626s, Desire 526 and Desire 520. Lets take a look at the specifications of the HTC Desire 626s here. The Desire 626 was already announced in Taiwan early this February, 2015.
HTC Desire 626s Specifications
The HTC Desire 626s sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The latest Desire smartphone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with HTC’s Sense UI on top.
On the camera front, the Desire 626s has a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It shoots HD 720p videos as well. It has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling and can shoot HD 720p videos as well. The smartphone is 8.19 mm in thickness and weighs 140 grams.
The Desire 626s comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/GLONASS as connectivity options. The device has a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The HTC Desire 626s and 626 will be sold via major US carrier including AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS, Sprint Prepaid, T-Mobile, Tracfone, Verizon Wireless and Virgin Mobile USA. The company has not revealed the pricing or availability of the device yet.
