HTC Desire 530 with Android Marshmallow now selling in USA

HTC Desire 530 was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in February. It is now selling in USA via the company as well as T-Mobile. It has been priced at US $179, however you can get it for $159.99 via T-Mobile (without contract). Also, you can get it for $0 as well, if you pay wish to pay $6.67 per month on a two-year contract. It is also arriving on Verizon soon.


HTC Desire 530 Specifications

The HTC Desire 530 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super LCD display that is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI on top of it.

On the camera front, the Desire 530 has a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.4 aperture and HD 720p video recording. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 140 grams. It supports Single / Dual (nano) SIM, depending on the region.

The Desire 530 comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone has a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood.
