HTC Desire 530 has been announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona along with Desire 630. It is the latest budget smartphone in the Desire 500 series. Lets check out the specifications.

The HTC Desire 530 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super LCD display that is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI on top of it.
On the camera front, the Desire 530 has a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.4 aperture and HD 720p video recording. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 140 grams. It supports Single / Dual (nano) SIM, depending on the region.
The Desire 530 comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone has a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood.
The HTC Desire 530 is available in Graphite Grey and Solid Stratus White color variants. The pricing has not been announced yet but it will start rolling out from March 2016. The company has also unveiled the HTC Desire 825.
