Another HTC’s phablet has been spotted on TENAA in China. It is a MediaTek powered device codenamed D728w. It is likely to be the HTC Desire 728.
HTC Desire 728 rumoured Specifications
The HTC Desire 728 will feature a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek 64-bit processor. It will come with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD slot. The device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with HTC’s Sense UI on top of it.
On the camera front, it will rock a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will be 7.87 mm thick and weigh 150 grams.
On the connectivity front, it will come with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. There is no information on the battery capacity yet but it will sport a similar design like the HTC Desire 820 and 626.
The HTC Desire 728 will supposedly come in Black, White, Grey, Orange, Gold and Red colour variants and will be place in the mid-range category in terms of pricing. As the phablet has already been certified, it is expected to launch within a month or two.
