HP Stream 8 Windows tablet now available in India priced at Rs 16,990

HP had announced the Stream 7 and Stream 8 Windows 8 tablet in 2014. Now, the company is bringing the HP Stream 8 to India and it is now available on Flipkart and HP’s online store. Lets go through the specifications of the tablet.


The HP Stream 8 features a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) anti-glare multi-touch IPS display. It is powered by 1.8 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor with Intel HD Graphics. It has 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The tablet runs on Windows 8.1 OS.

On the camera front, the HP Stream 8 is equipped with a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The dimensions of the tablet are 124 x 209 x 8.9 mm and it weighs 410 grams. The device comes with 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage and free Microsoft Office license for one year.

The HP Stream 8 Windows 8.1 tablet comes with 3G (via SIM card slot), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options. It has a 4,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The HP Stream 8 tablet (WiFi + 3G, 32 GB) comes in Black colour and is now available on Flipkart for Rs 16,990.
