Honor 8 Pro, the Indian variant of the Honor V9 has been officially launched in India today. It is the successor of the Honor 8 smartphone, which was launched in October last year. Lets take a look at the features and specifications of this dual camera flagship smartphone below.
Honor 8 Pro Specifications
The Honor 8 Pro boasts of a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, that is powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 (Quad 2.4GHz Cortex A73 + Quad 1.8GHz Cortex A53) processor along with Mali G71 octa-core GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Honor 8 Pro rocks two 12 megapixel rear cameras (monochrome + RGB) with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and Laser AF. It shoots 4K videos. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies and making video calls. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD card) and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. There is a fingerprint sensor located at the back. The phone is made up of metal and is just 6.97mm thick and weighs 184 grams. We also get an Infrared sensor.
The Honor 8 Pro includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC and USB 2.0 Type-C as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 4000mAh battery under the hood with support for fast charging. The retail box transforms into a VR headset.
The Honor 8 Pro is available in Midnight Black, Platinum Gold and Navy Black color variants. It has been priced at Rs. 29,999 in India and will be exclusively sold via Amazon from July 13, 2017.
