Huawei to launch Honor 6X with dual rear cameras in India on January 24

Huawei will be finally launching the Honor 6X in India on January 24, as expected. The company has started sending out media invites for the event. The mobile was also globally announced at the CES 2017. Check out its features and specifications below.

The Huawei Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display that is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 (Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.7GHz) 16nm 64-bit processor along with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It has 3GB / 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 32GB / 64GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.1), that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with EMUI 4.1 on top.

The Honor 6X rocks a dual rear camera setup at the back, where it comes with a 12 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.35 µm pixel size, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 6P lens and a 2 megapixel secondary camera for getting depth of field and background blur, similar to the ones found in Honor 8 but being a mid-ranger, it will not perform so well. There is also a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD card) and a fingerprint sensor is located at the back that can unlock the phone in just 0.3 seconds. It has a unibody metal build that is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 162 grams.

The Honor 6X includes 4G with VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,340 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging support.
