Google teases new Play Music app with Material Design

Just a day back we have seen a teaser posted by Google showing up their new Gmail app with new Material Design and many other capabilities in the new version 5.0. With the days approaching nearby for the first device to get Android Lollipop we can see many new teaser surfacing.

The Google Play Music app is all ready to receive its next update featuring a bright and colorful UI and yeah obviously featuring Materialistic Design. The new interface of the Play Music looks very much clean. Of the few changes noted are  the use of larger images for Album Art. The app now boasts an orange theme that is seen on the status bar as well as few keys. Icons have now become small and the typography has changed. The hamburger menu that was seen even on the Play Store is now available for Play Music.

The individual track playback interface has new iconography for playback and ratings, along with new queue, repeat, and shuffle icons. “I am feeling lucky radio” shortcut is now seen on top of Recommendations.

Basically this version of the app is an update to iconography and a collection of layout tweaks. It should be released next month along with the rollout of Android Lollipop. So till then we all have to sit back and hold our patience .
