Google partners with Sony, Sharp and Philips for Android TV

Last year at Google I/O conference, they announced many new services and hardware along with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Google TV was one of them. Now CES has added a new flavour to it. Google has announced hardware partners for its upcoming Android TV’

Google has partners with some big shot brands those will be providing the hardware for the Android TVs. They are namely Sony, Sharp and Philips. These companies will start shipping televisions powered by Android TV from March. Users can use a single remote to watch live TV channels and play games, movies or shows from Google Play and your apps. Good news for Android users is that, these TVs will also be Google Cast Ready so users can cast their content from phone or tablet to the big screen.
