Google Nexus 6P Special Gold Edition 64GB now available in India for Rs 43999

Google Nexus 6P was announced in September and came to India in October. The Huawei-made device, Google Nexus 6P Special Gold Edition is now available for pre-order on Flipkart. It was also spotted in Japan a while back.


The Google Nexus 6P Special Gold Edition 64GB variant has been priced at Rs 43,999 on Flipkart in India. It will start shipping from December 29 and will be delivered by January 7, 2016. You also get a Huawei back-cover free, if the purchase is made from the Flipkart app.

Google Nexus 6P Specifications

The Huawei-made Google Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The display has a pixel density of 518 ppi. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (Quad 1.5 GHz ARM A53 + Quad 1.8 GHz ARM A57) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes in 32 / 64 / 128 GB internal memory that cannot be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Google Now voice assistant is now always on and will work even when the screen is off.

The Nexus 6P comes with a 12.3 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.55 µm pixels, f/2.0 aperture, smart burst. It can record 4K video and also slow motion video at 240 fps. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4 µm pixels for selfies and video calling. The phablet has a full metal (anodized aluminium) body that is 7.3 mm thick, weighs just 178 grams and supports a Single Nano SIM. It comes with a fingerprint sensor named as Nexus Imprint on the back that can be used for secured lock, payments made via Android Pay, wake up the phone and unlock apps as well. It recognizes a fingerprint in less than 600 milliseconds, according to Google.

The Nexus 6P includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and reversible USB Type-C port as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,450 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charging.
